Alaska

          This political cartoon addresses the purchase of Alaska. I know this because Russian America is also known as Alaska. The cartoonist thinks that people hated the idea of this this because it was a waste of money. I say this because the look on the guy to the lefts face is grim and angry towards the other man. Some people may say that it was a waste of money and time. One technique used was labeling. They did this to show what was being moved. The cartoonist also used analogy. They did this by comparing Alaska to a block of ice. This however does support my claim that America can go to far but not always.
