Panama Canal

      This political cartoon addresses the building of the Panama Canal. I know this because in the cartoon it shows Roosevelt digging up the Panama Canal. the cartoonist believes that Roosevelt will even push his own people out of the way to get what he wants. They show this by having Roosevelt dig up his own citizens. In this cartoon the cartoonist used exaggeration. They did this by saying that Roosevelt dug the whole canal. The cartoonist also used labeling on the canal. They did this to represent what Roosevelt was digging. This cartoon also supports my claim the American Imperialism can go too far.
